Cedar was purchased in September 2002 from Kidds Creek Vizslas in Iowa.  He is from a strong hunting background and is quite the natural.  He is hard driven and very birdy.  He takes his field work very seriously.  Unfortunately, due to a leg injury as a young puppy he developed hip dysplasia in his injured leg and had to be neutered.  It does not slow him down in the field at all, however.  Cedar also loves the water and will do any retrieve asked of him.

Cedar is now officially a Senior Hunter!!  Only 10 days after shoulder surgery he finished his final leg at the VCCNE hunt test at Crane's WMA in Falmouth, MA.  He had a bonus leg the following day as well!  Way to go Cedar!  We are very proud of our boy!
