A little about us:

Kim and Mike met in 1995 at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where Mike was getting his bachelors in Forestry and Kim was getting her bachelors in Animal Science.  They were married in September of 2000.
Kim grew up in eastern Massachusetts working at veterinary hospitals around her school time.  She has had animals all her life including: dogs, horses, cats, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, gerbils, goats, pigs, chickens, ferrets and more.  Dogs have always been a very large part of her life.  When she couldn't have a dog in the dorms in college, she got rats instead until she could move off campus and have her own dog.  She is currently the president of the Vizsla Club of Central New England (VCCNE).
Mike grew up in central Massachusetts with various dogs and cats as well.  He transfered to Umass after deciding not to pursue engineering at RPI in New York.  Mike is a board member for the VCCNE.

Outside of the Vizsla world Mike is a forester for Baystate Forestry Service, a division of Vegetation Control Service.  Mike spends many of his days out in the field, which allows for the dogs to get a lot of exercise.
Kim is a certified veterinary technician and works full time as an ICU nurse for a busy veterinary emergency hospital.  This occupation helps trememdously with the dogs.  When we go to dog events the biggest doggie first aid kit ever made can usually be found in her car!
Their daughter, Jaida, was born in July of 2005 and has become the center of their world.  She loves the dogs and even helps train them already at her young age!  We have a feeling that she will be competing with them before too long!

Here is a picture of Jaida sleeping with the dogs while camping on Cape Cod.
